Pauly is a former harborman and craftsman who lived on Mount Desert Island until 2287.
Background
A craftsman, Pauly owned a set of Pelmen's power tools which he used and kept in pristine condition.[1] When the Fog rolled into his homestead at Eagle's Cove Tannery in 2286, he left to take refuge at the Mariner's residence. He stayed there until departing for the mainland in 2287. He told Mitch of his plans, who in turn informed the Mariner.[2][1] As Pauly was a friend of hers, the Mariner was sad when he left. However, since he left for the mainland, the harbormen consider it as giving up his claim to his homestead, rendering anything that he left behind fair salvage for scavengers.[3]
Seeking the tools for his own projects, Machete Mike has been casing Eagle's Cove Tannery for weeks looking for a way to get past the feral ghouls that have moved in since Pauly left.[4][5]
