Background
Minos is a pack animal for gold bullion vendor Minerva and her bodyguard Tommy Ten-Toes as Minerva sells her wares in Appalachia. Minos appears alongside them when they set up shop outside of Foundation, the Crater, Fort Atlas or the Whitespring Resort on a rotating schedule.

Behind the scenes
In Greek mythology, Minos was a tyrannic King of Crete and son of Zeus who made King Aegeus send seven boys and seven girls to the labyrinth to be eaten by the Minotaur.
