Gold Slouch, also known as Chrysalus Highwayman Wreckage, is an ambient music track composed by Mark Morgan for the Fallout 2 soundtrack. The track is available as a part of the Vault Archives compilation.
Appearances
Gold Slouch appears in Fallout 2; it plays while the Chosen One is in Redding. In Fallout: New Vegas, it plays near the wrecked Highwayman.
Notes
For its use in Fallout: New Vegas, the soundtrack was renamed "Chrysalus Highwayman Wreckage" and listed as an original game soundtrack, despite not having been composed for the game.
Behind the scenes
The guitar tabs for Gold Slouch are taken directly from Project Blue, an ambient soundtrack from the 1994 TV adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand.
