The Freeques are a minor faction encountered in the Fallout: The Roleplaying Game sourcebook Winter of Atom.
Background
The Freeques are a small community of synths and ghouls that toured the Commonwealth as circus performers prior to the events of Fallout 4. The Freeques base their identity and performances on that of pre-war circuses; namely the practice of circus "freaks" from which they derive their name. The Freeques offered asylum to not just fellow ghouls, but also run-away synths.
In the Fallout: The Roleplaying Game sourcebook Winter of Atom the Freeques find themselves trapped temporarily in the makeshift settlement of Big Top due to the onset of an atomic winter. As a result the community faces resource shortages and a dilemma stemming from a supply offer by the Children of Atom.
