A banana is an edible fruit, botanically a berry, notable for its elongated, slightly curved yellow shape.
Background
The fruit was radioactive due to its concentration of potassium, and consumption would provide about .1 rad per banana.[1]
Rumors of their existence persist, evidenced by the knowledge of said plant possessed even by tribal communities, but no actual banana has been found. Pre-War recordings can also be found, mentioning the fruit.[2][3][4][5]
In the King's School of Impersonation, a chalkboard lists peanut butter and banana sandwiches as pointers for how best to emulate Elvis Presley.[6]
Vault-Tec Plan D is described as being banana flavored.[7]
Appearances
Bananas are mentioned only in Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 76, and the Fallout TV series.
