The BFG 9000 is a weapon in the Fallout 4 Creation Club content "Doom BFG."
Characteristics
The BFG 9000 is a unique weapon which fires a large ball of green plasma, causing both ballistic and energy damage. The BFG is capable of being charged and holding it until the fire button is released. Though the ammo counter displays a maximum load of 10 rounds, the BFG does not reload like a normal weapon (also lacking a reloading animation) but instead has additional ammo become loaded with no delay. When discharging this weapon, the splash damage caused upon the projectile detonating covers an extremely large radius, which could easily kill the player if fired at too close a range.
Weapon modifications
The BFG 9000 cannot be modified at a weapons workbench.
Location
Found on Mercy, at the Glowing Sea Red Rocket station.
Behind the scenes
The BFG 9000 is an iconic weapon from the Doom video game series, developed by Bethesda Softworks' fellow ZeniMax subsidiary id Software.
