A Wood Nymph is a type of Nymph and enemy in Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters.
Characteristics
Wood Nymphs are the most common and weakest of all of the Nymphs. Like the other Nymphs, they are small, quick, and agile. They have a greenish appearance and leave a trail of flames when flying. They are commonly found in Greatwood.
Combat
Wood Nymphs attack by casting fireballs that impact the ground and cause a thornbush to shoot up, causing minimal damage. They can also summon Scorpions to aid them in combat.
Weaknesses
Like other Nymphs, they normally appear as fast-moving balls of light, and are invulnerable in this form. They only materialize to attack or summon creatures, and this is the only time they are vulnerable. It is recommended to use this instance to attack with a bow (a single charged bow shot is usually enough to defeat one), or with Fireball or Lightning spells. Wood Nymphs have a weakness to fire, lightning, and sharpening Augmentations.

Trivia
- They share the same colour scheme as the leaves and trees that are used in the forests for Greatwood.
Cut Content
- Old Project Ego screenshots and trailer footage showed the Wood Nymph sitting down on a rock. An animation which is not used in the final version of the game and was probably intended for a scripted cutscene or sequence.
