Many prisoners are escorted to Bargate Prison from here, and never heard of again.
Overview
The Prison Path is located just north of Gibbet Woods. It is an entirely desolate area, since no villagers or enemies are found here except for during the Rescue the Archaeologist quest and an assassin who will try to kill the Hero. The winding path leads to a dock where prisoners board a boat that will take them to Bargate Prison.
