Overview
A pompous Apprentice is boasting that he's the fastest trainee at the Guild. If you attempt to beat his time, there's twenty-five gold coins for you.
Walkthrough
At the base of Maze's Tower, there's an Apprentice loudly arguing with his friend that he's the fastest Apprentice in the Heroes' Guild. Talk to him, and he'll allow you to challenge him. If you do, a timer of fifty seconds will start. Run to the Demon Door and back in time, and he'll surrender his bet - twenty-five gold coins.
Trivia
- A good way to cheat at this quest is to continually hit the challenger in the direction of the demon door. This forces him closer so the course is shorter. However, this results in numerous tedious chats with Maze.
