Bert is a character featured in Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters and Fable Anniversary. He is a member of the Albion Guards, serving in the 3rd Regiment based in the Witchwood Arena.
Along with fellow guard Al, he guards the gates into the arena and appears slow to react to his partner's jokes.

It appears to be heavily implied that Bert is "slow" and only understands jokes which are straight to the point.
