Hongō Shōwa, mostly known for his alias Mr. MEGA-MIX (or mostly known as "Mr. M", "MEGA-MIX" or "Mega Mix Production"), is a DJ localized in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. He was very known for making the "Special Radio Edits" and "I Love "[LABEL]" Mixes" during the 90s until the early 2000s. His name is taken from the record store warehouse MEGA-MIX, also located in Nagoya, which notably sell eurobeat vinyl and CDs, along with a variety of other genres.
He started making remixes at A-Beat-C in 1991, followed by Time Records, Hi-NRG Attack, Delta Music Industry, Digibeat and others.
Nowadays, he's active on his Twitter page and just make edits of old 80s songs.
He should not be confused with Giordano Gambogi's main alias "Mr. M".
