Yeeun (예은) is a South Korean rapper, singer and songwriter currently under Superbell Company. She is a member of the project girl group EL7Z UP and a former member of the girl group CLC.
She made her solo debut on April 13, 2023, with her first single album "The Beginning".
Career
2015–2022: CLC, The Show, agency changes
Yeeun debuted as a member of Cube Entertainment's girl group CLC on March 19, 2015, with the group's first mini album First Love.
On May 21, 2018, Yeeun was announced as a new MC, alongside NCT's Jeno and soloist JIn Longguo, for the music program The Show.[1] Their first episode as MCs took place the next day on May 22.
On November 26, 2019, Yeeun and Jeno stepped down from their positions as The Show MCs.[2]
On March 18, 2022, it was announced that Yeeun's contract with Cube Entertainment had expired and she would be leaving the agency after deciding not to renew it.[3] Months later, on August 11, it was announced Yeeun had signed an exclusive contract with Superbell Company.[4]
2023: Solo debut, Queendom Puzzle, EL7Z UP
Yeeun made her solo debut on April 13, 2023, with her first single album "The Beginning".
On April 24, it was revealed Yeeun had joined the survival show Queendom Puzzle as a contestant.[5] In the show's finale episode, Yeeun placed 7th overall with 350,517 votes, thus becoming a member of EL7Z UP. The group will debut on September 14 with their first mini album 7+UP.
