Eden Eternal features a player housing system, allowing players to furnish their own personal spaces and host banquets for a weekly rental fee.
Renting a home
Requirements
A player must be at least level 35 to rent a home. Homes can be rented from Innkeeper NPCs at one of the following locations:
There is no difference in the appearance of each home, but in order to visit a particular home, players must travel to the city that the home is registered in. If a house is rented through a Guild Town, it cannot be accessed through other guilds' towns.
Paying rent
The exact rental amount for a home is dependent on its location; rent is cheaper in Golden Plains compared to Aven, and is free in Guild Towns.
For houses in Aven, rent is equivalent to 1.5 times the character's level. For example, if a character is level 70, their Aven rental amount would be 105 . For houses in Golden Plains, rent is equal to the character's level, so if a character is level 70, their rental amount would simply be 70
. If your character levels up while renting a home, the rent increase will be reflected in the subsequent payment. Rent must be manually paid each week.
Missed rent payments will add up until each missed payment is paid. If rent is not paid for 10 weeks, the home and all contents inside (furniture) will be repossessed by the server, and the home will be moved to Aven. Renting anew will not return the items inside, so it's best to move the furniture items to the warehouse or backpack if you wish to keep them before going on hiatus.
If a guild disbands while a player has a home in the guild town, the home will be moved to Aven.
Furnishing a home
Once you have a home, naturally you should furnish it too! Furniture pieces and decorations are available as drops from certain monsters as well as the Innkeeper NPC. Each furniture item contribute to two of three "stats" for your home: luxury, comfort, and rarity. These stats serve as prerequisites for hosting banquets (see below).
Banquets
Homeowners can also host guests for buffs! Banquets can be hosted once per day; players can gain EXP during the party and obtain a special buff when the party ends. Banquets can be initiated through Banquet Proposals, which can be purchased from the Innkeeper/House Manager. Different proposals will have different luxury, comfort, and rarity requirements, which are met by having furniture. Note that there needs to be at the least 3 players in the hosted home for the banquet to begin.
