The Grappling Hook Gun was only shown in "In Like Ed" when Ed attempts to infiltrate Jimmy's party. The gun is a hair dryer modified to shoot out a grappling hook. After a several second warm up, the user can shoot the grappling hook at their target. After reeling in the rope and tightening it completely, the user can attach a hook (in Ed's case his tongue) to slide towards the target in a manner akin to zip-lining. It is one of Edd's many experimental machines; specifically, it's amongst the few not shown to be destroyed.
