Julie Anne Merkell (née Harris; born 26th May 1972 in Bethnal Green, London), known professionally as Patsy Palmer, is an English actress and DJ who has portrayed Bianca Jackson in EastEnders periodically since November 1993.
Palmer married writer/director and producer Nick Love in 1998, they divorced in May 2000. In August of the same year she married Richard Merkell and they both have two children together.
Known for her role as Natasha in Grange Hill, Palmer has also appeared in The Gentle Touch, The Bill, Drop the Dead Donkey and The Catherine Tate Show. She participated in the 2023 series of Dancing on Ice.
