The Swamp is an area in EarthBound Beginnings, located between Youngtown and Ellay. It has a long, maze-like layout with a few misleading dead-ends.
Lloyd's Father is inside a garbage can here and will ask the player to tell him their name even if they have already done so for Ninten's Father in Snowman. There is also a single house. Inside the house is Pippi, who will heal the party's HP and PP if they stay the night.
The eastern swamp, Ellay, and Mt. Itoi base have the same enemies.
