Scrapper

The Scrapper is an enemy in EarthBound Beginnings. It can be encountered in Duncan's Factory. It attacks physically and sometimes guards or uses PK Beam α. It also has a chance to group with a Dr.Distorto or Old Robot. This enemy's battle theme is Battle with a Dangerous Foe.

Defensively, the Scrapper has 70 HP and 76 DEFENSE. Offensively, it has 26 OFFENSE, 25 FIGHT, and 20 SPEED. Its resilience to Status Ailments is 20 WISDOM, 100 STRENGTH, and 100 FORCE. It drops 65 EXP and $<38/span> when defeated.

Trivia

• EarthBound lacks an equivalent enemy, but Mother 3's equivalent to the Scrapper is the Scrapped Robot. It is found in the Highway. It has significantly more HP and also has a chance to drop loose parts, hurting themselves, functioning differently than in EarthBound Beginnings.
• In the companion guide, it is called "Scrapper" in all versions of the game.
  • Its description reads, "A robot appearing in the big factory, who, like the Old Robo, was manufactured as a prototype. And yes, it was resurrected by the aliens' handiwork. It'll fire PK Beam α at you. It does other things, too, like stand on guard.".
