Armor

The Armor is an enemy in EarthBound Beginnings. It can be encountered in Rosemary's House. It attacks physically and sometimes uses PK Thunder β. It also has a chance to group with another Armor. This enemy's battle theme is Battle with a Dangerous Foe.

Defensively, the Armor has 120 HP and 150 DEFENSE. Offensively, it has 68 OFFENSE, 50 FIGHT, and 60 SPEED. Its resilience to Status Ailments is 50 WISDOM, 100 STRENGTH, and 100 FORCE. It drops 200 EXP and $300 when defeated.

Trivia

• EarthBound lacks an equivalent enemy, but Mother 3's equivalent is the Ghost Armor. It is found in Osohe Castle. It has slightly more HP and physically attacks, functioning similarly to EarthBound Beginnings.
• In the companion guide, it is called "Suit of Armor" in Mother, and "Armor" in EarthBound Beginnings and Mother 1 + 2.
  • Its description reads, "This is an enemy with an old-fashioned appearance, as though it broke out of a history book, but because it protects itself with its tough armor, it can take a licking; and since it's free with its use of PK Thunder β to boot, you're going to have one tough time taking it down. It's also unsettling to know it appears in the Haunted Mansion.".
