Cursing is the power to put a curse on someone. In Misfits, Hayley curses Alex so that he feels like he is drowning every time he does not help someone out. It is possible that this was not a power gained in the storm. It is unknown if other types of curses are possible.

Usage
This power was used on Alex to punish him for not helping Hayley when she lost her keys in the lake. She asked him for help but he refused even though she told him she was scared of water. He still refused to help and so she cursed him to feel like he was drowning everytime he refused to help someone. Eventually, Alex showed Hayley that he had learned his lesson and was truly sorry for not helping her. Satisfied, Hayley removed the curse from Alex.
