A slave is a person who is forced to work without pay for an indeterminate amount of time. Slavery has been present in many cultures and civilizations. In ancient times, slaves were usually taken from defeated foes or brought to the host country as part of a slave economy system. In the Imperium the Maulas or "Slaves" were the lowest class, rightless beings outside of the formal Faufreluches.
