House Jongleur was a House Minor within the Landsraad, who were aligned with House Fenring.
House Jongleur was known as the one which produced Jongleurs, the primary troubadours of the Imperium. These Jongleurs traveled between Great Houses, telling stories and singing songs to entertain the great Families.
House Jongleur fell into disgrace when a number of the itinerant storytellers were proven to be double agents in inter-House feuds. When those Houses ceased to employ their services, House Jongleur forfeited its status in the Landsraad.
Largely due to the Jongleurs' demise, many entertainment innovations were developed, including holo-projections, filmbooks and shigawire recorders.
