King Ghidorah (キングギドラ, Kingu Gidora) is a fictional kaijū (Japanese giant monster) from the Godzilla series that is referenced and appears many times throughout the Dr. Slump series.
Appearance
He is a three-headed dragon with two wings and golden skin.
Biography
Wonder Island
He appears in Wonder Island 2 where he attacks the main protagonist, Dirty Harry, when the latter arrives on Wonder Island. However, P-Man intervenes and defeats King Ghidorah with a Mouth Energy Wave, thus saving Dirty Harry's life.
Dr. Slump
The Birth of Arale

While not appearing in Dr. Monster, the character Dr. Monster is a big fan of him along with other kaiju and his hideout King Ghidorah Mansion was named after him.
In The Big-Small Gun!, he is seen in an image depicting a theoretical situation where he was shrunken down with the Big-Small Ray Gun and being taken by a police officer saying it would be a useful invention for giant monster attacks.
Monsters' Night

He appears along with Gamera and Godzilla in "The Great Arale-Eye Caper: Part 1", going to the Norimaki Residence to play with Gatchan.
Penguin Grand Prix

He is mentioned by Taro Soramame in "The Ho-yo-yo Gang, Part 2".
Other Media
Dragon Ball
He makes a cameo in the crowd of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament in the Dragon Ball episode "Tail's Tale". Also, enemies similar to King Ghidorah, but with only two heads, appear in Pilaf's Castle in the video game Dragon Ball: Shenron no Nazo.
