94.1 The Shark

On November 3, 1993, the station relaunched with a country music format as "94.1 The Shark: Great Country That Bites." It has held the same slogan, branding, and format ever since.

The station became known for its colorful presentation, with jingles subtly based on the Jaws theme, along with the colorful, nautical-themed pseudonyms used by its on-air staff, such as "Bob Barnacle", "Greg Whyte", "Jellie Fish" and "Tony Tigershark". The station also developed a family-friendly image, holding events and giveaways catering to families.
