The Morrimp is a new monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in the 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VIII.
Characteristics
Morrimps are a subspecies of the imp that are clearly inspired by Morrie of the same game they debuted in. This demon, as the name suggests, has the colour scheme of Morrie's clothes with their "costume" constantly having red and green colours everywhere, also in their wings. They wear black gloves and boots of black leather. The pitchfork is replaced by a white spear with golden details and a slime stack figurine inserted on it.

A Morrimp appears alongside a Treeface and a Treevil in the Battle Road as part of the Battle Bunnies Monster Team once again in the Monster Battle Road Cooperation Challenge Battle held on February 16th to March 1st, though it is more stronger than in its previous Monster Arena bout.
