Rasin (レズン Rezun) is one of the two short, plump henchmen who work for Turles in Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might.

Appearance

Rasin is purple skinned, ovular-headed and rather short.

Biography

Background

He and Lakasei are revived by Turles from fossils of the long extinct Beenz people by using extract from the Tree of Might. Their species is extremely intelligent, and the two of them built Turles' spaceship and the rest of their ordnance.[1]

On Earth, Rasin and Lakasei easily defeat both Chiaotzu and Tien Shinhan, but they are defeated when Goku goes on a rampage against all of Turles Crusher Corps, defeating them at the same time when he uses the Kaio-ken.

Fusion Reborn

Rasin along with several other antagonists reappear briefly when the dimensions between the living world and Other World are broken down.

Films

In The Tree of Might, Rasin and Lakasei were able to use their teamwork to overpower and defeat both Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu without effort. However, Rasin were defeated by Gohan. Rasin was defeated and killed by a Kaio-ken-empowered Goku.

  • In the AB Groupe dub, Rasin and twin Lakasei are given feminine sounding voices, suggesting they may be female, although in most versions it is implied that they are male.
