Acid (溶解液 Yōkaieki)[2] is a technique used by the Saibamen.

Overview

The Saibaman splits open his head and releases acid from it, powerful enough to melt through anything, including the Earth, leaving a deep pit.

Usage

SnakeAcids

In the anime, when Goku is swallowed by Princess Snake in the anime, it is shown that her stomach contains a powerful digestive acid capable of melting Goku's flesh.[3]

TripleAcid4

Acid is used by a Saibaman against Tien Shinhan and the Dragon Team in the series. Everyone manages to dodge the acid.[4]

Frost Rushes Vegeta

Sometime later, during battle between Cell and Android 16, it is revealed that the bodily fluids of the Bio-Android have a high and dangerous acidity content. This fact can be verified in the scenes in which Android 16 plucks off Cell's tail to prevent it from absorbing more living beings, however immediately after Cell demonstrates to have also the Namekian Regeneration Ability that makes him grow a new tail, completely wet by his bodily fluid dripping some drops melting the ground.[5]

In the anime, acid is present Inside Buu.[6]

In the anime, Frost's left needle possess a highly acidic poison intended to kill.[7]

It is one of the Saibamen's attacks in Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyan, Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu, Dragon Ball Z: Goku Hishōden, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, Dragon Ball Z: Sagas, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, and Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle. It is one of their Blast 1 techniques in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and Raging Blast series, and an offensive technique in Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi.

Captain Ginyu spits acid as his primary attack while in his Mega Ginyu Frog form in Dragon Ball Online.

Bio-Broly in his Giant Form can shoot acid out of his mouth as a Super Attack named Super Genome Ray (スーパーゲノム光線こうせん Sūpā Genomu Kōsen) in Dragon Ball Heroes and Ultra Genome Ray in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse, it appears as a Super Skill exclusive to Saibamen, Kyukonman, and Tennenman. There is also a variant used by Copyman and Jinkouman called Poison.

In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Saibamen summoned by Nappa use acid as one of their attacks.
