Laryn was a noble caste dwarf of House Branka. In 9:28 Dragon she participated along with the rest of her House in Paragon Branka's quest of finding and reclaiming the Anvil of the Void.
Involvement
During Branka's quest to find the Anvil, Laryn was captured by darkspawn along with many of her companions. During her captivity, she was turned into a ghoul and then she gradually became a broodmother. During her transformation she was forced to eat her husband and friends alive. The Warden learns of Laryn and her fate upon encountering Hespith, and eventually kills Laryn in the Dead Trenches. It is later discovered that Branka had allowed Laryn to become a broodmother, in the hopes of using her “children” to probe the traps guarding the Anvil.
