In Exile is a side quest from the Jaws of Hakkon DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Sigrid Gulsdotten exiled herself from Stone-Bear Hold. Though Sigrid refuses to explain why, it may still be possible to discover the reason.
Acquisition
Speak to Sigrid the Exile; she can be found in a hut on the western-side of the Frostback Basin (south of the Ridgeline Inquisition Camp).
Walkthrough
Speak to the Augur in Stone-Bear Hold to gather additional information on the reason for Sigrid's exile. He will explain to the Inquisitor that as an Avvar mage, Sigrid was possessed by a spirit but failed to let the spirit go during her offering ritual.
Head due south from Stone-Bear Hold to find the small ritual site. Examine the various hidden clues around the area to uncover what happened, then return to Sigrid to hear her explanation as to why she could not complete with the ritual. The Inquisitor can either encourage Sigrid to confront the Augur or recruit her as an agent for the Inquisition.

- If the Inquisitor chooses to recruit Sigrid while Varric is in the active party, he will comment on how the "abomination thing" didn't work in Kirkwall, possibly in reference to Anders.
