A health bonus (or health potion) is a powerup that appears as a small blue bottle containing a special potion or medicine. Picking one up increases the player's health by 1% up to a maximum of 200%.
Health bonuses are worth 2% in many ports, including the Sega 32X, PlayStation and Sega Saturn ports as well as Doom 64. The upper limit of 200% can be altered with DeHackEd.
Health bonuses are included in the items percentage displayed at the end of each level.
