Field Drones, often referred to as Droppers, are hover drones developed by the Union Aerospace Corporation to receive and deliver parts to off-duty employees, engineers, and soldiers. There are twelve Field Drones located throughout the campaigns of DOOM and Doom Eternal.
Finding one will allow the player to acquire a new weapon modification, though only if the weapon itself has been acquired.

- When he receives it, the Doom Marine is shown to punch the mod out of the drone's grasp, reinforcing his rough nature.
