A Fat Zombie is a Zombie that is obese, but behaves like most other Zombies.
Appearance
Fat Zombies come in three forms:
- Unarmed
- Faceless, open abdomen, unarmed
- Faceless, open abdomen, with wrench
Combat Characteristics
A Fat Zombie, like a regular Zombie, moves towards the player until he is close enough to attack. However, he has more health and inflicts more damage than regular Zombies. Fortunately, Fat Zombies move generally at a slower pace than regular Zombies. Although in occasions, they are also subject to moving slightly quicker than Regular Zombies. This can be noticeable if he has his arms lifted in the air. Because speed is the only technical difference between the two modes, he is more dangerous in running mode, although if the player is able to let him lose sight by outrunning him, he will begin walking again.
A Fat Zombie with a wrench is not capable of running, but he has farther reach than the other two variations. He is also the only Zombie that does not make any alert sounds if he notices your presence, which can sometimes surprise players off-guard if he is hiding behind dark corners. It is best to be aware of your surroundings on occasions for this reason.
