The Wave (더 웨이브) is the first Korean digital single by DKB . It was released on September 21, 2023, and serves as the theme song for the 104th Korean National Sports Festival and 43rd National Sports Festival for the Disabled. It is the final release to feature member Teo before his departure from the group.
Background On September 7, 2023, it was reported for the first time in the history of the Korean National Sports Festival , a theme song would be produced in collaboration with a K-Pop group. It was announced that DKB had been selected and had already recorded the song.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4]

제104회 전국체육대회 및 제43회 전국장애인체육대회 주제곡!
올림픽, 월드컵 등의 글로벌 스포츠 이벤트에 버금가는, 국내 최대 규모의 스포츠 이벤트 K-POP 주제곡 프로젝트.
개최지 전남의 아이덴티티와, 경쟁과 화합이라는 체전의 아이덴티티를 융합.
하우스와 국악이 적절히 어우러진 퓨전 하우스 기반의 울림과 흐름의 노래 The Wave.
대회의 가치를 담은 테마를 통해 대회 주제의 의미를 공유하고, 국제 스포츠 이벤트와 같은 위상으로 성장하고자 하는 의지를 담고 있으며, K-pop 팬덤 뿐만 아니라 넓은 층의 대중, 특히 젊은 층을 위한 대중 문화 컨텐츠로서, 이번 대회의 가치 전달을 목표로 하고 있다.
