A dragon rider who has been charged by his mistress to seek out and elimate the Marked Ones. He discovers Lucian on the road south of Aleroth and senses that he has the aura of a Marked One about him.
Upon attempting to kill Lucian, his assault is interrupted by Zandalor, who John is also eager to meet. However, he is swiftly killed by the wizard.
