Wendy is an American drama film written and directed by Benh Zeitlin and star Devin France. It was released on February 28, 2020, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures through the Searchlight Pictures label. The film serves as a re-imagining of the story of Peter Pan, from the point of view of Wendy Darling.[1]
Synopsis
Wendy finds herself stranded on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unstuck. She must fight to save her family, her freedom and the joyous spirit of youth.

Production
In August 2015, it was announced Benh Zeitlin would write and direct the film.[2] Production began in March 2017.[3]
Release
In April 2018, Searchlight Pictures bought the North American distribution rights to the film.[4] It was released on February 28, 2020 by Searchlight Pictures.[5]
