Walmart is a major store chain that was founded by Sam Walton in 1962. Although not owned by Disney, it has sold a number of exclusive video, DVD, and Blu-ray releases of various Disney-related productions. It is the world's largest company by revenue according to the Fortune Global 500 list in 2014, the biggest private employer in the world with over two million employees, and the largest retailer in the world. Walmart is a family-owned business, as the company is controlled by the Walton family who own over 50 percent of Walmart through their holding company, Walton Enterprises. It is also one of the world's most valuable companies (in terms of market value), as well as the largest grocery retailer in the United States.

- Lightning McQueen and the theme park version of Cinderella with her pumpkin coach appeared in a commercial for Walmart for the Super Bowl 2019 along with other cars from pop culture and their drivers.
- In the Super Bowl commercial for 2020 the next year featuring extraterrestrial and sci-fi characters and vehicles, Buzz Lightyear, teenage Groot with the Milano, and C-3PO and R2-D2 with the Millennium Falcon were among them.
