"Vuelie" is the theme of Disney’s Frozen franchise. Inspired by indigenous Saami and Scandinavian culture, the song was written and composed by Norwegian composer Frode Fjellheim. It is a combination of Saami yoiking and the Danish Christian hymn "Dejlig er jorden"/"Fairest Lord Jesus", also composed by Fjellheim. The original hymn is composed by the Danish composer B.S. Ingemann.
The song can also be heard within the score of Frozen II in tracks such as "Introduction," "Iduna's Scarf" and "Epilogue" and is prominent within the film itself.
Summary
Frozen
During the opening credits of the film, beginning with the iconic Walt Disney Pictures castle logo, as well as the Walt Disney Animation Studios logo, the song is played in the background, transitioning into the film with an array of snowflakes gracefully floating across the screen, soon revealing the icy Frozen title card, with Elsa's signature snowflake in the middle of the 'O'.
At the end of the film, during "the great thaw", a reprise of the song is featured as Elsa removes the winter curse across Arendelle.
Frozen II
Like its predecessor, the song is featured during the film's opening, playing as the two logos appear on screen.
Within the film itself, the song is sung by the Northuldra people as a gesture of respect and friendship to welcome Elsa and Anna into their tribe after learning that the Arendellian royals are half Northuldran through their late mother, Queen Iduna.
A reprise of the song is featured during the epilogue, when Elsa rides the Nokk through the Enchanted Forest and off towards Ahtohallan.

Trivia
- Though "Let It Go" is the most popular and recognizable song from the film, "Vuelie" serves as the film's second theme song, being featured as the opening song in nearly every Frozen-related special and attraction at the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts around the world.
- It appears to be the only lingering openly-Christian element of the film, as other Christian imagery (such as the crosses on the Bishop's mitre and Elsa's scepter and crucifer and the banner of Joan of Arc) was removed.
- "The Great Thaw", a reprise of the song, can be heard in the score of Ralph Breaks the Internet when Elsa helps the princesses rescue Ralph.
- The teaser trailer and the first official trailer for Frozen II feature a rendition of "Vuelie".
