Thomas Louis "Tom" Magliozzi was one of the co-hosts of NPR's weekly radio show Car Talk, alongside his brother, Ray, where they were known as "Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers". Their show was honored with a Peabody Award in 1992.
For Disney, he voiced Rusty Rust-eze in Disney/Pixar's 2006 animated film Cars. He passed away at the age of 77 in 2014 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease.[2] However, despite this, numerous sites, including Animation Magazine, stated that his voice was re-used for Rusty in the 2017 sequel Cars 3.[3]
