Timothy Spall

Timothy Leonard Spall, OBE is an English actor and occasional presenter. For Disney, he played Nathaniel in the 2007 Disney fantasy film Enchanted. He also voiced Bayard Hamar in the 2010 Disney live-action/computer animated fantasy-action film Alice in Wonderland and its 2016 sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Spall was born in Battersea, London and attended Battersea County Comprehensive School. After discovering a passion for acting, Spall trained at the National Youth Theatre, and at RADA, graduating in 1978, after being awarded the Bancroft Gold Medal as the most promising actor in his year. He gained stage recognition through productions of The Merchant, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Three Sisters, Nicholas Nickleby, The Knight of the Burning Pestle, and St Joan.

Following a film debut in Quadrophenia, Spall continued to appear in films such as Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Bride, Secrets & Lies, Hamlet (1996), Topsy-Turvy, Chicken Run, Lucky Break, Vanilla Sky, All or Nothing, Nicholas Nickleby (2002), The Last Samurai, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Damned United, The King's Speech, Mr. Turner, Early Man, and Spencer. However, he is best known globally for his role as Peter Pettigrew/Wormtail in the Harry Potter film series.
