Peanut is one of the protagonists of Pickle and Peanut. He is an anthropomorphic peanut who loves to hang out with his best friend Pickle and gets caught up in crazy misadventures.

Personality
Peanut is a fun-loving, easy-going 18-year-old who is always looking for the next best thing. He can be something of a slacker, but when he finds or sees something that peaks his interest, he will go non-stop to reach his goal. While he can act immature, especially when he is with Pickle, he is shown to be more level-headed and smarter than he lets on. At times, he can also be pretty arrogant, especially when he believes that what he is doing is the right thing compared to someone else's opinion or idea. However, he usually learns his lesson by the end of each episode and be humbled by his experience.
Physical appearance
Peanut is a literal peanut. Unusual for a Disney character, he is portrayed as a live-action image of a peanut overlayed with animated characteristics including long brown stick arms and legs, blue and yellow kicks, a red, white and blue headband and a simplistic face of two eyes and a mouth.
Trivia
- No explanation is ever given as to why Peanut is a literal peanut while his mother is human.
- Peanut is apparently bad at parking his van with a running gag involving him running over other cars and using obstacles to crash into them.
