Pluto finds a fallen bird's nest with three hatching eggs and becomes the baby birds' protector/father.
Synopsis
The episode begins at the Roadster Garage, with everyone doing work on their Roadsters, Mickey in particular working on a car for Mr. Bigby. Pluto walks up to everyone with a frisbee in his mouth to get them to play with him, but everyone is too busy to accommodate him. Pluto then accompanies Mickey as he is delivering a car he made for Mr. Bigby, but after seeing how sad Pluto is, he decides to stop in the park for quick game. As Pluto fetches the frisbee Mickey tossed, he ends up finding 3 baby birds who think Pluto is their dad. Mickey encourages Pluto to take care of the chicks while their mother is missing.
The scene cuts back to the Roadster Garage, where the chicks followed Pluto and the dog is forced to care for them. However, as Pluto is assisting the other workers, the chicks keep getting in the way, causing Pluto to get squished by a giant tire, covered in blue spray paint, and flushed down Goofy's bathtub Roadster. Mickey admits that caring for the chicks in the garage wasn't a smart idea, so he takes Pluto and the chicks back home to the house before returning to the garage. Pluto puts on the TV and gives the chicks some bread before taking a nap. After waking up and rescuing the chicks from the bathroom, Pluto begins playing the chicks and bonds with them quickly. Mickey returns, claiming to have found the birds' mother and is going to return them, much to Pluto's dismay.
Mickey and friends go to the park where the mother bird comes for the chicks. However, Pluto, not ready to say goodbye, keeps the chicks and runs away from the mother, but the chicks choose to stay with the mother. After seeing a disheartened Pluto, Mickey tells him that the chicks will grow up and come back to visit. A few days later, Mickey and Pluto are playing in the park when the latter sees the chicks again, now able to fly. The episode ends as Pluto plays with the birds once more.
