Osono

Osono is a character from the anime film Kiki's Delivery Service.

Background

Osono is Kiki's guardian and she and her husband, Fukuo own a bakery. Osono agrees to let Kiki stay with her and helps her at various points along Kiki's story. She is heavily pregnant with her baby and needs all the help she can get at the bakery. Being a kind and generous woman, she lets Kiki stay with her and helps her at various points along Kiki's story. For example, she lets Kiki use the bakery's phone, for Kiki's delivery service. 

Trivia

• In the original book, Osono was shown being pregnant for only a day (or rather half a page) when she first meets Kiki. She gives birth the day after and doesn't play much of a role in the rest of the book.
