Nathaniel Parker is an English stage and screen actor, who, for Disney, portrayed Thomas Dermer in Squanto: A Warrior's Tale and Master Gracey in 2003's The Haunted Mansion.
Parker was born in London and joined the National Youth Theater where he took part in the productions of Richard III and Macbeth. He eventually trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1986. He made his professional debut as Tybalt in a production of Romeo and Juliet. He has since appeared in productions on both British and American productions of The Merchant of Venice, Speed-the-Plow, The Audience, The Winter's Tale, Every Man in His Humour, The Rover, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Quartermaine's Terms, This House, and the Wolf Hall trilogy (Wolf Hall Part 1, Bring Up the Bodies, The Mirror and the Light) where he played Henry VIII and won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role.
Also appearing on screen, Parker appeared in films, such as Hamlet (1990), The Bodyguard, Othello (1995), Beverly Hills Ninja, David, Malice in Wonderland, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Ophelia, The Warrior Queen of Jhansi, and The Last Duel. His television credits include Inspector Morse, Harry Enfield & Chums, McCallum, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Hotel Babylon, Land Girls, Merlin, Me and Mrs Jones, Of Kings and Prophets, The Vineyard, and Midsomer Murders. Parker has also done voiceover work on audiobooks and radio dramas.
