Muse, whose real name is Bastian Cooper, is a Marvel Comics character that appears in Daredevil: Born Again, played by Hunter Doohan.
He is one of the most ruthless, sadistic, and efficient criminals in Hell's Kitchen. He views his crimes as works of arts, and he is feared and dreaded not only by superheroes and law enforcement, but also by other criminals. He is one of the villains that Daredevil faces when he comes out of retirement.
Muse was created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney.

- In the comics, Muse (real name unknown) was potentially an Inhuman with the power of absorb all sensory information around his body, making him imperceptible to other people and even Daredevil. Muse eventually killed himself by walking into a burning pile of debris, and after his death, he was condemned to Hell. There, he found part of Morgan Whittier's soul, a young artist who later became his sucessor as Muse on Earth.
- In the episode "Art for Art's Sake", Muse's name is revealed to be Bastian Cooper. He stated to Dr. Heather Glenn that he can became imperceptible in his dreams, suggesting that he may have powers not developed in the series.
- Despite being killed by Dr. Glenn in this episode, Bastian is set to return in the second season.[1]
