We are first presented with this character at Merlin Academy, when he introduces himself in Life is Sweeter. He is among the bullies in Uliana's gang who enjoy teasing Bridget and steering up mischief with Hades, Hook, Maleficent, and Uliana. We are shown a glimpse of his powers when his eyes turn snake-like, which he inherited from his mother.
After witnessing Uliana temporarily transform into a flamingo after consuming Bridget's cupcake feathers, she becomes vengeful and decides to get back at her at once. Morgie decides to help her by joining in during Perfect Revenge, suggesting along with Hades, that they should burn Bridget to a crisp.
Instead, Uliana decides to make her own treats to poison Bridget's heart and turn her into a bitter monster. To complete this task, Morgie was asked to stay on the look out while his other four close friends attempt to steal the Sorcerer's Cookbook from Merlin's room, eventually failing and leaving him behind after being sentenced to detention.

- In the original script, he was meant to have Hook as his love interest and was also meant to find the Sorcerer's Cookbook alone, after the other villains were unfrozen and sentenced to detention. Images were publicly revealed for this scene.
- Unlike the other Villain Kids, he is the only child of a Disney Villain that is not featured in a Disney animated film.
- Because the Descendants franchise generally focuses on animated film characters, Morgie is mistakenly confused as the son of Ursula's sister, Morgana, who appears in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea.
- Morgie's mother, Morgana le Fay, shares her name with the namesake founder of Morganians from the live-action film The Sorcerer's Apprentice. While both are based on the mythological figure of the same name from Arthurian tales, it's too certain that they're unrelated, separate characters.
