Minnie Safari

"Minnie Safari" is the second segment of the fifty-ninth episode of Mickey Mouse Funhouse. It premiered on April 12, 2024 alongside "Saving Major Green!" and is the second segment of the fifth episode of the third season.

Synopsis

Minnie becomes frustrated when she can’t find the elusive Cat-O-Spots on a safari.

Plot

The episode begins with the gang reading books inside Funny. Minnie is reading a book about a rare species of cat called the Cat-o-Spots. Funny mentions that one lives in the Enchanted Rainforest, so the gang departs to find a Cat-o-Spots. Minnie gleans from her book that Cat-o-Spots tend to stay to the ground, so the gang searches low. While searching, Daisy suggests singing a song to lure the Cat-o-Spots out of hiding. The song works for a split second as they find a Cat-o-Spots in a tree, but Minnie dismisses it due to her book saying otherwise.

The gang continues searching according to Minnie's book and they eventually find their friend Pinky the gorilla. Pinky is playing a coconut like a bongo drum and it lures the Cat-o-Spots. Minnie, however, still thinks it doesn't work and eventually loses Pinky's drum into a cave. The Cat-o-Spots chases after it, prompting the gang to follow it. Inside the cave, they find the Cat-o-Spots, whose spots glow in the dark, playing with the drum. This causes Minnie to realize that she doesn't know everything about cats and should keep an open mind. The gang sings to lure the Cat-o-Spots out of the cave, where Minnie gets her picture. The gang then returns to Funny. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.
