Meg Ryan

Margaret Mary Emily Anne Hyra, better known as Meg Ryan, is an American actress, director, and producer. She is best known for her roles as Sally Albright in the 1989 comedy-drama film When Harry Met Sally... (with Billy Crystal); Kathleen Kelly in the 1998 romantic comedy film You've Got Mail with Tom Hanks (both of whom started since Joe Versus the Volcano and Sleepless in Seattle); Dr. Maggie Rice in the 1998 fantasy film City of Angels; her 20th Century Fox roles as Kate in the 1995 romantic comedy film French Kiss and Karen Walden in the 1996 war film Courage Under Fire (with Denzel Washington); and as the voice of Dr. Blight in Captain Planet and the Planeteers and the titular character of Don Bluth's 1997 animated film Anastasia.

For Disney, she played Sydney Fuller in the 1988 Touchstone Pictures film D.O.A., Cally Oaks in Wildside, Alice Green in When a Man Loves a Woman, and Kate McKay in the 2001 Miramax film Kate & Leopold.
