After Jack's craw was captured, Mallot was put in charge guarding the motley crew only for Mallot and Grapple to be distracted upon seeing a table of food which they were planning to eat once the curse is lifted during a situation where Elizabeth Swann knocked Jack the Monkey off the deck. Noticing the monkey who was falling off, Mallot noticed the monkey and then rushed to find the attacker which Elizabeth used a lifeboat to knock down Mallot and Grapple into the ocean in their skeletal forms.
