Kyla Pratt

Kyla Alissa Pratt is an American actress, voice actress, singer, and model, who rose to fame in her debut role as Charla Nichols in the NBC sitcom Friends, and later as Breanna Barnes in the UPN sitcom One on One and Maya Dolittle in the Dr. Dolittle film series, taking over Eddie Murphy's main role in Dr. Dolittle 3 onward. She is also well-known for portraying Doris Robertson in the 2004 live-action/animated film Fat Albert, Heather in the 2009 DreamWorks family comedy film Hotel for Dogs, and Crystal Whitmore in the BET romantic comedy series Let's Stay Together.

For Disney, she voiced Penny Proud in the Disney Channel animated series The Proud Family, as well as reprised this role as a guest appearance in a special crossover episode of Lilo & Stitch: The Series and in the Disney+ series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, a revival of the original series. She also made a guest appearance as Lillie in Smart Guy, and portrayed Brooke Baker in Lizzie McGuire. Additionally, she played Trish Tomlinson in the Freeform teen drama series Recovery Road.

She was also one of the recording artists present for a pop rendition of The Lion King's "Circle of Life" for the film's Special Edition release, where she performed with the Disney Channel Circle of Stars, as well as sang "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella with the group. Additionally, she recorded "It's All About Me" during her role as Penny Proud for the series' soundtrack.

  • Pratt and Christy Carlson Romano were both recruits in season 3 of the reality quasi-military training show Special Forces: World's Toughest Test and were both removed in the 8th episode, voluntarily withdrawing and disqualified respectively.
  • Despite her last name, she is not related to Chris Pratt.
