Kiri is a character who appears in the 2022 film Avatar: The Way of Water. She is the teenage daughter of Dr. Grace Augustine, and the adopted daughter of Jake Sully and Neytiri.
Kiri is the biological daughter of Dr. Grace Augustine's avatar body, which was rendered brain-dead after her passing. Despite this, she is a naturally conceived Na'vi who was raised by her adopted family in the rainforests of Pandora. She is regarded to being an "odd" yet sensitive child who is strongly connected to the world around her, far beyond any normal Na'vi.[1]
Physical appearance
Kiri is a young Na-vi around fourteen years of age. Since she was conceived through an avatar body (a genetically engineered human/Na'vi-hybrid body, designed to serve as a remotely controlled vessel for a human mind) she was born with human-like traits, such as eyebrows and five fingers instead of four.
Trivia
Kiri is portrayed by Sigourney Weaver, who previously portrayed her mother, Dr. Grace Augustine in the first film.
