About

Kauppias/The Salesman is well-known for his extreme political beliefs. In the Donald Duck episode Vacation Time 1947, he made his debut. He sells books about Senator Soapbox's speeches to Donald Duck in that episode. Following that, Kauppias/Salesman kidnaps Donald Duck and takes him to his covert military base, where he discusses his beliefs and the elimination of the Certain people. He then goes on to describe how The Certain People run banks and mass media. He offers Donald Duck a drink after escorting him to his fortified headquarters and calmly discusses his viewpoint and his intention to meet the wealthy duck Uncle Scrooge in order to obtain funding for his top-secret scheme.

The salesman, also known as Kauppias, is portrayed in comics as a self-centered, gregarious, intelligent, and threatening guy despite leading an underground life. Kauppias's devoted employees are thought to be a result of his captivating and cunning actions.
